The Philippine National Historical Society will be holding the 41st National Conference on Local and National History through a series of webinars, from 9:00 to 11:30 in the morning on October 24, November 14, and November 28, 2020. The conference is co-sponsored with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts – Committee on Historical Research (NCCA-CHR), and the Philippine Social Science Council (PSSC).

Keeping the torch burning amidst this difficult health crisis, the society has assembled papers that highlight several historic events taking place, namely: the quincentennial commemorations taking place in 2021 (the first circumnavigation of the world, the introduction of Christianity and the victory in the Battle of Mactan), the commemoration of the end of World War II, and other topics that are relevant to the pandemic. The following are the presentations:
